The following terms and conditions govern all water meter installation, testing, maintenance, and related services provided by Y Square Plumbing Engineers and Water Meter Works.
1. Scope of Work
All services including installation, testing, calibration, repair, replacement, and maintenance of water meters will be carried out as per the agreed quotation or work order approved by the client.
2. Site Responsibility
The client shall ensure safe and proper site access, availability of water supply shutdown arrangements, and necessary permissions before commencement of work.
3. Installation Conditions
Water meter installation will be performed based on site feasibility and existing pipeline conditions. Any additional modification work required will be informed and charged separately upon client approval.
4. Testing & Calibration
Meter testing and calibration services will be conducted using standard procedures. Results are based on the meter condition at the time of testing.
5. Material Warranty
Warranty for water meters or spare parts shall be subject to the manufacturer's warranty terms. Damage caused by improper handling, external impact, tampering, or unauthorized modification is not covered.
6. Service Warranty
Service workmanship warranty (if applicable) is limited to the specified service period mentioned in the quotation or invoice.
7. Payment Terms
Payments shall be made as per agreed terms mentioned in the quotation. Delay in payment may result in suspension of services or additional charges.
8. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for protecting installed meters from physical damage, freezing, flooding, or unauthorized interference after installation.
9. Liability
The company shall not be responsible for water loss, pressure variation, or damages arising from existing pipeline defects or external factors beyond our control.
10. Safety Compliance
All works will be executed following standard safety practices. Clients must ensure a safe working environment during service execution.
11. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Any cancellation or rescheduling of confirmed work must be informed in advance. Applicable service or mobilization charges may apply.
12. Governing Terms
All services are subject to company policies and may be updated without prior notice.
